WARM HOSPITALITY

Full English breakfasts are served in preparation of your activity-filled day using the the freshest local fruit, homemade cheeses and preserves. With doors opening onto the verandah overlooking the established gardens, resident Wagtails are often part of the welcoming team as they swoop below the balcony rafters, surveying all that is good at No 7! Cocktails and light snacks are served each evening in the lounge (with a roaring fire on chilly evenings), before guests head out for dinner at one of our nearby restaurants and eateries. Grahamstown offers a host of options - from student- type Pub & Grub to relaxed Bistro, or something a little more refined. Guests embarking on the Full Day Spirits of the Past Tour with Alan Weyer (see Activities) will enjoy either a delicious picnic lunch on the banks of the Great Fish River, or a meal of freshly prepared fish overlooking the fishing harbour on the Kowie River, in Port Alfred. (vegetarian/meat options are also offered!).
